Jon Wray Health, Fitness and Wellbeing based at 12 Park Place in Leeds City Centre, was formed from the foundation of 20 years of ongoing education and experience. Understanding the wants and needs of individuals across a broad spectrum of people.
We design a bespoke and systematic personal training regime for you, so you can achieve what you desire. We constantly monitor and adapt, to ensure your continual development.

the founder
JON WRAY
(MSc, HR Dip, BSc Hons)
Jon has been a health, fitness and conditioning professional for over 20 years. Originally a junior rugby union international and professional rugby league player of 12 years for Castleford, Wakefield and Hull KR, Jon has worked with a spectrum of elite athletes to working professionals.
Jon was also a university/college sports and physical activity lecturer for 16 years. His promise is to to guide you through to achieve what you desire, in a way that is precise and effective.



PERSONAL TRAINER
Chris Loliva
(MSc, BSc Hons)
Chris is very passionate when it comes to health, fitness and sports. His philosophy is to use a combination of knowledge, teaching ability and open-mindedness to get you the results you want.
Chris can adapt his approach, specifically to you, meaning you get the right training at the right time.
Chris has a bachelor degree in sports science and nutrition plus a masters in strength and conditioning. He has been working for years as a Strength and conditioning coach, martial arts and athletics instructor.

physiotherapist
MARTIN ASSAME
(MCSP BSc Hons. PGDip. Ortho. Med MSc. Advanced Practice)
Martin is the lead physiotherapist at Jon Wray Health & Wellbeing.
Having 15 years experience in musculoskeletal, sports and spinal physiotherapy Martin is able to manage all aspects of sporting, occupational and musculoskeletal issues. This is informed by a wide and varied sporting background from Rugby League, Climbing through to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.



massage therapist
Lisa Procter
(ITEC, Dip)
Lisa Procter is a level 3 ITEC qualified sports massage therapist with over 8 years experience. She has worked with the London marathon, the Leeds half marathon and the Professional Cricket Association on ‘The Big Bike Ride 3’.
Each treatment session is tailored to the client’s needs which may include treatment of built up scar tissue from an old injury which can be reduced. Regular scheduled sports massages can speed injury recovery by releasing the tension built up and also improving circulation bringing nutrition to injured cells.
Personal Training
The best way to achieve what you desire is through a bespoke and systematic personal training regime.
At Jon Wray Health, Fitness and Wellbeing we will assess your current health status via a battery of questionnaires, resting measurements, physical tests and analysis of your eating habits.

bootcamp sessions
If you enjoy working with a small group who are striving for the same common goal, then bootcamps are for you. A high-intensity, non-stop workout utilising a combination of resistance and aerobic activity.
The beauty of the session means you are in control of your intensity. You can go hard or easy dependant upon your fitness levels, in the safe environment of nobody watching you as everyone is concentrating on themselves.
